Negotiations to amend the IBT-CAL technicians Agreement commenced on December 16, 2008 in Houston, Texas.
The union served the company with its' opening proposals (exclusive of Articles 1, 15 and 16) and went through the package of changes that the Union was seeking. The meetings continued on December 17th.
In opening remarks the company stated that they wish to negotiate an agreement that is fair to both sides. They are prepared to negotiate and the next two sessions have been agreed upon for January 14-15, 2009 in Orlando, Florida and January 28-29, 2009 in Houston, Texas.
