Dear Members,
Our new agreement stipulates that a Cost of Living Committee be constructed to determine the cost of living in each of the cities in which technicians and related are based.
We are asking for seven (7) volunteers from within the rank and file to be part of the Newark maintenance cost of living committee. If there are more than seven (7) volunteers wishing to be part of this committee then an election will be conducted to determine the committee member(s).
From within this seven (7) man committee there shall be one (1) committee member elected to represent the Newark, LaGuardia and Washington DC membership. This elected individual must be willing to travel at a moments notice and may be required to be away from home for an extended period of time.
If there is anyone who is interested in volunteering to be part of this committee please notify the Union office no later than the 10th of January, 2011.
