As previously reported the IBT is working diligently to keep the members informed and educated on all things related to the recent EBOLA threats. The following information, while distributed to many different represented industries, will help further that education process.

A general Ebola informational fact sheet and an industry specific fact sheet on Ebola in waste management are currently being developed. Please note that this is a dynamic situation and the Ebola facts sheets will undoubtedly be updated in the future as new information is gained, however, it’s important to get the best information we currently have out to our members. Know that we participate in daily conference calls with other labor groups and are in communication with representatives from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) and other relevant entities who provide us with updated information on Ebola.
