Dear Members,
Duplicate ballot requests have been made to the Local by a small percentage of members who claim they haven’t received their original ballot or otherwise needed a new one due to missing, lost or damaged materials. In an effort to ensure that no member is disenfranchised the initial vote count date of October 22, 2010 has been cancelled and the vote count will now take place on November 4, 2010.
If you have already voted there is no reason to re-vote, your ballot will remain secure at the post office box address and will be collected on November 4, 2010 when the tally begins.
If you have already requested a duplicate ballot it has been mailed out. However, a new duplicate ballot request deadline has been added and you have until 12:00 pm EST on Friday, October 22, 2010 to request another. We suggest you call the Local at 212-757-3463 Ext. 238 and request another duplicate ballot if you do not receive the first one by Wednesday of this week.
Again, all members are invited to attend the vote count on their own time. The vote tally process will begin at 1000 on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at the following address:
